Xiaomi Corporation was established in Beijing in April 2010 and went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s Main Board on July 9, 2018.

The company works in its early days with objective to provide electronic items at fair costs so that everyone can benefit from cutting-edge technology.

Xiaomi is a top smartphone manufacturer around the world. In the fourth quarter of 2021, the company’s market share in terms of smartphone shipments was ranked third, with Xiaomi devices available in over 100 countries and regions worldwide.

The company made the Fortune Global 500 list for the third time in August 2021, placing 338th, up 84 places from 2020.

Their logo “MI” stands for “Mobile Internet.” They said it can also mean different things, like “Mission Impossible,” because Xiaomi had to overcome many problems that seemed impossible at the start of their business.

The first official Mi Store in the Philippines launched in February 2018, with the long-awaited physical store located on the 4th level of the TriNoma Mall in Quezon City, next to Cinema 5. They have since opened Mi shops, kiosks and service centers in majority of malls around the country.

In January 2021, Xiaomi partnered with Grimalkin Corporation to create the Mi online shop in the Philippines.
