Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo, who have been together for a long time, are getting married and expecting a baby!
The 34-year-old actress used Instagram to announce her engagement to Dennis, posting a snapshot of the two kissing in front of a giant neon banner that read “MARRY ME.” Jennylyn stated in the caption, “It’s always been a YES.”
They also had a joint interview on 24 Oras. They created a Youtube video to provide more facts about Dennis’ proposal and Jennylyn’s pregnancy.
Jennylyn observed something “strange” during the taping of her television soap “Love. Die. Repeat.” two months ago, according to Jennylyn. At the time, word got out that she was having a “medical emergency,” which caused the shooting to be temporarily halted and subsequently led to reports that she was expecting a kid. Her managers published a statement assuring supporters that she was “in good health” but did not address the rumors.
“Ang timing niya ay nasa taping ako ng ‘Love. Die. Repeat,'” says the actress. So it’s been two months since nangyari. Eh, medyo emotional ako. Dun ko na-feel na medyo iba ako. During their joint interview, Jennylyn added, “Iba yung pakiramdam ko.”
She said they had always wanted to have a child together and were now overjoyed that it had finally happened.
“We have two boys,” she explained, “so sana ibigay na sa’min ang baby girl.”
Dennis proposed to Jennylyn at home after feigning interest in discussing a plan for their upcoming Youtube vlog, which involved penning a letter to their future selves. Dennis then gave a passionate and heartfelt speech in which he thanked his partner for everything she’s done for him over the past 11 years.
“Thank you, if bakit ngayon lang nangyari, iniisip mo, but hindi pa kasi siguro ako ready noon. “However, siniguro ko muna na talagang kapag nangyari yun, ito na yung greatest version ko,” he started.
“Salamat and dumating ka sa buhay ko, please. With tears in his eyes, he added, “Hindi ko alam kung makakahanap pa ko ng pagmamahal na katulad ng binigay mo sa akin.” “Ikaw lang ang gusto kong makasama and ang bagong addition sa pamilya natin,” says the narrator.
He then dropped down on one knee in front of them as the doors behind them opened. It then showed a backdrop of plants, balloons, and the “MARRY ME” sign, all created by celebrity event stylist Gideon Hermosa.
“Oo naman!” Jennylyn responded to Dennis.
We’re ecstatic for Jen and Dennis! Best wishes to the happy couple!
